Tuesday May 6
Vicki Larado will be at the Brenham H.S.
Competition Gym for the 8th Career & Job Opportunities Fair
from 8am-Noon and Kellie Outlaw will take over from Noon-3pm.
Students will be able to browse the booths from 8am-11:30am
finding job opportunities in the area along with education and
training needed. The fair will be open to the public from
1pm-3pm so anyone interested in visiting the fair should
register at the front desk of the High School.
Friday May 9
Cactus Ken Murray will be On the Square,
Downtown Brenham for the 118th Maifest JUNIOR PARADE at 10:30am
with Maifest King George Newman and Queen Lois-Kate Kolkhorst.
Maifest is one of the oldest spring German festivals in the
South with German music, children's carnival, and festival food
and drinks! Don't miss Cactus Ken Murray at the JUNIOR
Coronation at Fireman's Park and Stadium at 7:30pm. The theme
this year is "The Toy Store." with an elaborate
outdoor ceremony!
Saturday May 10
Kellie Outlaw will be at the Lee County
Sheriff Posse Rodeo in the Covered Arena in Giddings from
6:30pm-8:30pm. On Friday May 9th from 9am till Noon they will
have a CPRA Team Roping-FREE to public! There will also be all
of your favorite events like bareback riding, saddle bronc
riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down
roping, barrel racing and steer roping!
Kellie Outlaw and Trailboss Troy will be On
the Square, Downtown Brenham for the 118th Maifest SENIOR PARADE
at 10:30am with Maifest King Jarred Tiemann and Queen Margaret
Krauson. Maifest is one of the oldest spring German festivals in
the South with German music, children's carnival, and festival
food and drinks! Don't miss Trailboss Troy at the SENIOR
Coronation at Fireman's Park and Stadium at 8pm. The theme this
year is "Court of Visionary Voyages." Other
Entertainment includes The Shiner Hobo Band at Noon, Fire on the
Mountain Cloggers at 5pm and Emory Quinn at 10:30pm.
