April 19

"Anything with Wheels" Bike Rodeo and Safety Fair. Safety lessons and instructions by local law enforcement. Sponsored by the Anchor Club in Brenham.  Going on from 10-11:30am in the Brenham Wal-Mart north parking lot. The is a free event! Win prizes like a bike and a helmet! Additional activities include a bike decorating contest, puppet show, nail painting, and more!
Note: Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Redneck Run, 5K run with adventures and farm obstacles.  18 poverty stricken kids will participate in the event and the goal is to raise money to buy them all new running shoes. Looking for volunteers and would love to see kids giving back to kids if possible.   There will be a food drive the day of the event so bring some donations!  There will also be a small Easter egg hunt for the kids.  Register today at http://redneckrun.org/

April 20

Celebrate one of the most joyous days of the year.  The sunrise service begins bright and early at 7:00am in Central Park, College Station.  The service is followed by complimentary breakfast in the Central Park Pavilion and an Easter Egg Hunt for small children.  Easter in the Park is sponsored by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (1007 Krenek Tap Road, College Station).

Aggie Muster at Reed Arena in College Station. Aggies across the world will gather to reflect on their days at Texas A&M and to answer “Here” for their fellow Aggies who are no longer with us. This year’s Campus Muster events will begin with the flag raising ceremony in Academic Plaza at 7AM.  The Reflections Display, which contains items of those being honored this year’s Roll Call for the Absent , will be available in the Flag Room of the Memorial Student Center beginning April 15 thru April 21st. at 3:00 PM. The Camaraderie Barbeque will be held on the Corps Center Lawn from 11- 2 PM, and all are welcome to attend. The meal will be a barbeque lunch for $10.00 or one meal swipe. The Campus Muster Ceremony, including the Roll Call for the Absent, will begin at 7PM in Reed Arena. The Muster Speaker for this year will be Mr. Bill Youngkin ’69. BCS Chamber’s Annual Epicurean Extravaganza at the Brazos County Expo Center , doors open at 5p.

May 3 

Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser and Dance will be at St. Johns Church Pavillion.  Mass, bake sale and other events starting at 5pm.  BBQ Beef and pork from 5-7:30, to go or dine in.  Silent Auction from 5-8:30p, live auction at 6:30p.  Kids activities, bounce house and train rides! Dance with Central Texas Sounds and Leaving Sundown.  All proceeds will be used to purchase a new grasstruck for the fire dept.

The LaGrange Bluebonnet Lions Club will be selling their chicken spaghetti and mexican taco casseroles for $10 each.  They will be available for pick up at the First United Methodist Church at 10:30 am.  Pre-orders are being accepted by calling Carolyn 979-250-1074 or any other Bluebonnet Lions Members.  This fundraiser benefits local scholarships and charities.

Industry Brethren Church's 25th Annual Fundraiser and Fried Chicken Dinner from 11-1pm, dine in or to go. Auction at noon, , country store, and more! Will be held at Industry Fireman's Hall. All proceeds benefit the Church. www.industrybrethrenchurch.org
